Description
For heaters manufactured since February 2010 all Heatsource product have been fitted with an integrated air flow sensing device from Omron. Â This is a new MEMS D6F air mass sensor and, importantly, Â works with no moving parts. Â This has overcome an issue in older heaters where, if left unused for long periods or subject to a very hostile environment, the spinning wheel sensor may become sluggish and not want to spin up. Â This kit allows the Omron sensor to be retroffited into the older models including the HS1600, HS1800, Pre Feb 2010 HS2000 Â and the HS2800 and so doing away with the Air flow sensing fan and infrared detector. Â The fault is displayed on the thermostat as a five flash code
